According to history (and Wikipedia), 1905 was the annus mirabilis of Albert Einstein, publishing papers which lay the foundations of quantum physics, introduced the special theory of relativity, explainedBrownian motion, and established mass-energy equivalence.

Not bad. For me, it’s proof that creativity combined with knowledge knows no limits. Add in a little chutzpah and now we are talking.
